Alexandre Lepoultel has 20 years of experience in the large-scale energy infrastructure industry. Over the years, he has held operational, financial and commercial positions in the gas & power business units of ENGIE and TotalEnergies.

For most of his career, he has lived between the UK and the US, working with partners from all around the world on the implementation of new business models in areas such as the export of LNG from the US, partnerships with local power players in Latin America and Integrated Energy Projects in Africa (FSRUs, LNG to power, renewable hybrid/LNG). He has also worked for the IFC on M&A transactions pertaining to renewable generation assets in Europe.

In 2023, he joined Energy Pool as Director of International Development, M&A and Partnership, and contributes his experience in turning electricity storage assets into bankable projects with large upside.
