Mr. Akyıldız earned his degree in Economic Sciences from the University of Bremen in 2001. With extensive expertise in energy, telecommunications, and IT, he has held various senior leadership roles at EWE in both Germany and Türkiye.

As the CEO and Board Member of EWE Energy, a leading power and gas trading company in Türkiye, and CSO of EWE Turkey Holding, he was responsible for overseeing the sales and trading of electricity, natural gas, and telecommunications services in Türkiye. During this time, he also served as a Board Member of the Energy Traders Association.

In May 2023, Mr. Akyıldız joined pure.energy in Düsseldorf, one of Germany’s TOP 15 Direct Marketers with a portfolio of 2,500 MW. In his role as Managing Director of Sales & Business Development, he is focused on driving the expansion of direct marketing for wind and solar parks, establishing Corporate Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) for industrial clients, and advancing battery flex-trading solutions. Additionally, he leads pure.energy’s asset investment initiatives in Germany, with a particular focus on battery storage and wind energy projects.

Mr. Akyıldız is married and the proud father of three children.
